Fun for now

In our lives we constantly do things in the name of fun. We go out, risk or lives, get scared, push our limits all in the name of fun. However, at the end of the day we are only left bruised and beaten from all the “fun” we had.

Our fun constantly leads us down a path of destruction. We see teenage pregnancy at a high because it was fun. We see drugs being used because it was fun. We see a generation of people who are having fun, but in the end take their own lives. Teenage suicide is at an all time high, non-suicidal self injury had become a normal, recklessness is the general descriptor of humanity. Maybe it is time to take care of a creation that God has made in God’s image. Maybe it is time for a new focus. Maybe it is time to bandage our wounds and get to healing a generation.

It doesn’t take a simple blog to change a generation, but a drive to stand in the Gap between God and humanity so that destruction will not come to us. I’m not asking for a soldier, just looking for the willing soul to be different.
